This 2-day course provides essential training for anyone required to safely operate a power saw in the workplace. Participants learn proper handling techniques, maintenance, and safety procedures to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with occupational standards. Ideal for workers in forestry, construction, and industrial environments where power saws are routinely used.


Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled class time and bring the following to class:
  • Valid Government issued ID
  • Students need steel toe boots
  • We supply chainsaws, Chaps, Hard Hats
  • Writing utensil and paper
  • Water Bottle, lunch and snacks

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any booking cancelled 7 business days in advance will receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled within 3-6 business days of the course start will receive a credit applied to their account for future training. Students cancelling less than 48 hours before the course start, withdrawing after commencing class, showing up late, or failing to attend classes without notification (No Shows) will forfeit the full course fee. Student substitutions will be allowed up to the start of the course with no penalties. Irwin’s Safety reserves the right to cancel any course in which the minimum registration is not met, and make any changes in course content as circumstances may require. Every effort will be made to advise students by phone or mail of cancellations prior to the commencement date. In order to guarantee a seat in any of our courses, payment must be made at the time of booking.
